About PCHardwareLab

Updated: 2 October 2026

PCHardwareLab is a PC builder for the Spanish market that uses artificial intelligence to propose a complete parts list from a budget and a specific use. It started from a simple problem: finding one coherent, compatible parts list with real Spanish prices in one place.

What PCHardwareLab actually does

This is not a shop or a classic price comparison site. It is a tool that reasons like an advisor: it starts from your budget and main use (gaming, editing, programming or office work), checks what is possible in the Spanish market today, and returns eight specific parts with the reasoning behind each one.

To keep recommendations realistic, the system leans on verified market data and on the current hardware generation: AMD Ryzen 9000 and 8000, Intel Core Ultra 200S, NVIDIA RTX 50 and AMD RX 9000 graphics cards, and DDR5 memory. When something is not possible on your budget, it says so and explains the alternative.

Why we tell you when something is not possible

In 2026 RAM and SSD prices have risen sharply because of the DRAM and NAND shortage. Budgets that bought a full gaming PC in 2023 no longer do. We would rather say that plainly than invent a parts list with impossible prices.

That honesty is deliberate: a recommendation you cannot buy is useless. When the budget falls short, the tool offers real alternatives: integrated graphics, a second-hand GPU, or stretching the budget just enough.

How we are funded

PCHardwareLab is free and needs no sign-up. We are funded only through affiliate commissions: when you buy a component through our links to Amazon Spain or PcComponentes, those stores pay us a small commission.

This does not change the price you pay and does not decide which parts are recommended. The links are model searches, so you always land on the part that was proposed.

Contact and corrections

If you spot a wrong part, an out-of-date price or a recommendation that does not fit, tell us and we will fix it. Content is regenerated periodically with updated data.

Frequently asked questions

Who writes the content?
The market analysis and guides are produced by an AI model from price data and a reviewed technical table of current-generation parts. Prices are cross-checked against public Spanish market sources and updated periodically.
Do affiliate links make my purchase more expensive?
No. You pay exactly the same as going straight to Amazon or PcComponentes. Only the commission recipient changes.
Do you store my data?
To cap the free daily calculations, the IP address is used temporarily to count requests. There are no user accounts and no data is sold.
